新的學期一開學，我們就變成了三年級的學生了，同時我們的任務也重了，這個學期我們開始要學英語了。媽媽為了讓我能更快的`適應，就給我報了一個課外英語輔導班。

第一天去上課，我迫不及待地跑向英語教室，一走進教室，我驚呆了！這個教室太漂亮了！牆上有紅色的花、綠色的草、藍色的天空、黃色的太陽……有很多漂亮的桌子椅子，還有許多六面拼圖給我們玩，可好了！

我們開始上課了，老師的名字叫布萊恩，他上課很有趣，你們想知道為什麼嗎？說起布萊恩老師的有趣那是講都講不完。他會用一些好笑的語言和手式來讓我們記單詞，我們都很開心，就這樣用快樂把我們帶入了課堂。中間環節我們會玩寫單詞和寫漢字的遊戲，還有花花的遊戲呢！寫單詞時比誰寫得最快就勝利了，寫漢字也一樣。可是畫畫就不一樣了，畫畫是比誰畫得更像。

每天清晨，我都會被爺爺那嘰哩呱啦的英語聲給吵醒。你肯定會疑惑不解，告訴你吧，我爺爺隨著奧運會的一天天臨近，竟然每天早上五點多鐘就開始學英語了。

爺爺常說："奧運會是我們中國人的驕傲。"到時肯定會有許多外國人來我們張家港觀光旅遊。如果走在大街上老外問咱們問題，咱們聽不懂，也不知道怎麼說，肯定會讓他們笑話的。於是，爺爺就去"歐亞"報了個老年英語培訓班。由於爺爺的英語基礎很差，學起來就特別的困難，再加上爺爺的一個門牙也掉了，發起音來更是費勁，而且還要鬧笑話。雖然有這麼多困難，但是爺爺很堅持，天天抱著復讀機聽個不停，還樂此不疲。

為了把英語學好，爺爺要求我和他用英語互相問候和對話。比如：每天早上他看到我起床就說一聲："Goodmorning（早上好）！"下午放學回家就說："Goodafternoon（下午好）！"等簡單的句子。有一次，我給爺爺倒了杯茶，他連忙說："Thankyou（謝謝）！"結果說成了"坦克油"，把我逗的捧腹大笑，差點把剛喝的水給噴了出來。在一旁吃飯的老爸更是笑得前俯後仰。奶奶也一邊笑一邊拍打著爺爺說："老頭子，你都這麼大年紀了，普通話都說不標準，還學英語呢，哈哈哈——"。爺爺故作鎮定的說："這有什麼好笑的，不就是把音讀的重了一點嘛！"我連忙告訴爺爺說："爺爺，如果你把音讀重了，就有可能變成另外一個意思，那樣的話，外國人就有可能理解錯誤的。"爺爺聽了迫不及待的讓我教他，我耐心的一遍又一遍教他發音。雖然他的發音還是不怎麼標準，可他堅持不懈的精神值得我們全家人讚歎。

爺爺身體不太好，還有糖尿病，醫生叮囑過爺爺要保證睡眠的充足，可爺爺為了學好英語，晚上仍然堅持去上老年英語培訓班。爸爸也曾勸他多休息，擔心過分的勞累會影響他的身體。但他堅定的對我們全家人說："為了北京的奧運，再大的困難也要堅持！"

在爺爺的不懈努力下，他的英語水平已有了一定的.進步，基本的一些口語他都能比較流利的說出來。值得驕傲的是，在爺爺的帶動下，我們小區裡的一些老年人都開始學起了英語，報上了老年英語培訓班。

爺爺不僅有中國人的骨氣，還具有堅持不懈的精神。爺爺這種活到老學到老的精神，真值得我佩服！

once upon a time. there was a house. beside the house there was a bird cage. one Day a cat went to eat the bird, so the cat jumped and hit the bird cage. the bird cage fell down to the ground knocking the bird cages door open. the bird then flew away. so the cat started to chase the bird and the dog chased the cat. however the bird flew on top of the tree. so the cat started to climb the tree and the dog barked at the cat. before the cat could reach the bird, the bird flew away. this caused the cat to fall out of the tree. the dog then ran away, the bird quickly flew back into his cage and the man from the house carried him safely home.
