小作文重格式的特點要求考生們在格式上不能犯錯，熟悉一些應用文的格式和英文中應用文的表達習慣。句子無誤是小作文得高分的第一步。

1、稱呼格式

1)對陌生的團體負責人的稱謂：Dear Madam or Dear Sir

三、佈局

四、語言

句型多變：例如既有並列句，也有複合句，還有從句。
